I made it to 2 posts!!

This must be a record or something...I made it to a second post!!  I'm sitting in my comfy leather chair with my "Snuggie".  You may laugh at me, but don't knock it till you try it.  Whoever thought a blanket with sleeves could be so awesome!  Plus it's an A&M one (thanks Mom and Dad).

Well, I started (and completed) a new project over the weekend.  Let me introduce you to what I call "Ellen Art".


I know that it's not on the wall where it is going (above the couch), but it turned out a lot better than what I thought I could do.  I got the idea from watching too much HGTV one weekend.  It was a lot cheaper than buying someone else's and a lot easier to match colors.  It was easy enough, maybe I'll try it again.

On another subject, I'm watching "The Bachelor" right now and I officially am adding South Africa to my "Bucket List" as somewhere I want to go.  An African Safari sounds like so much fun.

Tomorrow will get close to 50 degrees!  So I don't have the excuse this week to put off running.  I start with my 1.5 mile run tomorrow.  Boomer is going too.  Mom says he's looking "rotund".  :)

    I checked out your blog "just in case" and yea! You posted again!! I love the picture of you and Boom - he's quite a handsome dog (not at all rotund, in my opinion!) Your art is amazing! Great job! Yes, Lowe's has made many a dollar off of me watching HGTV! Can't wait to see the next project! Enjoy the "warm" weather. I'll walk on Saturday in encouragement of your run!
